The study program Marketing Management is based on your previous studies and comprehensively imparts knowledge of marketing.

Study with practical relevance

The study program Marketing Management at the EMS offers you in-depth practical relevance. Many of our lecturers come from the free business and can introduce their practical knowledge to the lectures. In addition, the lecturers bring in practical case studies. A business project as well as a simulated business game gives you the opportunity to connect and apply theory and practical relevance.

Further, you can apply your theoretical knowledge during an internship between the second and third semester, at home or abroad and gain valuable work experience within the field of marketing.

Become a marketing expert

The study program Marketing Management optimally prepares you for a marketing career with detailed insights into all essential functional areas of marketing. The knowledge in business economics, which you have gained in your previous studies, builds the foundation for this study program and is further expanded. This Master’s degree course prepares you for tasks and basic procedures of marketing management. In numerous lectures you will look at the different areas of marketing and learn about important marketing approaches.

In addition, you learn how to successfully use important marketing instruments. Marketing innovations of the international economy as well as single submarkets are part of your studies. The lecturers will introduce you to existing branding models and concepts as well as provide you with techniques to design a successful brand. You will also learn about innovation planning, implementation and control during your studies.

Companies have to recognize innovations and track down trends at an early stage in order to expand and maintain their competitive advantage. Therefore these companies need highly qualified personnel who have the competencies and the motivation to take the company forward. You learn all these competencies in the course of the Master’s study program Marketing Management at the EMS.

Marketing Management offers many qualifications

The Master’s degree course Marketing Management is an international study program, which also focuses on expanding your intercultural competencies. In addition, you can learn and broaden other foreign language skills, for example French or Spanish.

Lectures, such as International Project Management and Advanced Intercultural Team- and Self-Management, help you to expand your personal and intercultural competencies. The forth semester is reserved for your Master thesis and concludes your business studies. During this lecture-free semester you have the possibility to study abroad at one of our partner universities or to gather further work experience.
