The study program Financial Management is based on your Bachelor’s degree study program and comprehensively imparts knowledge of the financial sector. 

International Financial Management

With this study program you dedicate yourself to the subjects of international finance sectors and expand the economic knowledge acquired in your previous studies. Applying new and relevant developments from the current international practice is a focal point of the study program. Lecturers with an international background will introduce several financial modeling techniques with which you learn to analyze data, conduct research and predict variables. In the course of your studies you additionally deal with the complex formalities of options as well as forward transactions and gain necessary skills in order to evaluate fusions, takeovers, restructurings.

During the Master's degree program Financial Management you develop a profound understanding for the sophisticated challenges of the international financial sector. You deal with tasks on exchange rates, parities, the effects of trade restrictions and different stock markets.

Studying with practical orientation

The lecture language of this study program is English. Furthermore, you have the possibility to learn and broaden further foreign language skills. In addition to the international orientation, this study program is also practical oriented. You can use your internship in between the second and third semester to gain valuable work experience.

You can spend your fourth semester abroad at one of our many partner universities in order to write your Master thesis. Another possibility is to write the Master thesis in cooperation with a company.

The practical orientation of the study program is also based on the lecturers with several years' work experience. They incorporate their experience and present case studies from financial practice.
