In the course of six semesters you get to know all subdisciplines of tourism. In various lectures you receive, besides aspects from the tourism area, a broad variety of knowledge which is essential in order to manage modern companies. Collaboration with well-known companies in common projects and excursions give you the opportunity to strengthen your business know-how within the scope of your studies.
In addition to the English lecture language you can choose other foreign language courses. Beside Spanish and French we also offer other languages which you can learn and deepen. Should you decide to take the English-Only-track, your studies will focus on the intensive strengthening of your English skills.

The study program International Tourism Management is rounded off by Soft Skill courses, such as trainings in personality and presentation technologies. With this broad portfolio the EMS offers you the possibility to qualify for popular positions of the travel branch in the whole world.

International Tourism Management combines theory and practice

To prepare you for forthcoming challenges in the best way possible, the study program International Tourism Management connects the areas of theory and practical experiences with each other. You can deepen the attained knowledge even further in lectures given by experts. In addition, you have the possibility to gain experience during your internship in a company of the tourist industry, as well as during the semester abroad. You will learn about the demands of the tourism industry and understand the complicated connections between the individual areas.
The individual lectures additionally combine theoretical concepts of business management with topical challenges and questions from the tourism area. You can take up complementary practical experiences in a Business Project within the fourth semester as well as a Business Simulation Game in the sixth semester and connect it with the attained theory.
